Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a treatment which exfoliates the top surface layers of the skin. This can assist in removing dead skin cells and debris and can be helpful for mild acne, rough skin and persistent blackheads.

The procedure is performed with a vacuum extractor that brings the skin in contact with a diamond coated head that abrades and cleans the surface of the skin. The procedure can be performed with minimal downtime, you can return to work straight away and wear makeup the day after your treatment.

Microdermabrasion is a very safe treatment, and can help you get the most out of other treatments such as prescription skin care and chemical peels.

As microdermabrasion is a very superficial treatment, risks are minimal, and best results are achieved with a series of treatments. After a series of treatments you can expect improvements in skin texture and tone and clarity of your skin.
