Specialist Dermatologist Dr Clare Schofield

Dr Clare SchofieldDermatologist

Dr Clare Schofield has been practicing dermatology for over 10 years, she a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She graduated from medical school in 2004 with first class honours and on the Dean’s role of excellence with university prizes in surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology.

After working  in a variety of medical and surgical positions Clare started a career in dermatology. She completed the majority of her training at one of Australia’s largest dermatology departments, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Following her specialist training and becoming a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) Dr Schofield worked as a consultant dermatologist in several private and public clinics before establishing the Melbourne City Dermatology practice.

Dr Schofield is a visiting dermatologist for The Alfred Hospital public dermatology clinic.  Clare has a keen interest in teaching and has lectured medical students over the last several years. She is the supervisor of training for dermatology registrars at The Alfred Hospital.

Dr Schofield has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and enjoys treating complex problems and clinical challenges.

Dr Sarah Gamboni

Dr Sarah Gamboni Dermatologist

Dr Sarah Gamboni is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

She completed her dermatology specialist training in Victoria, having worked at major tertiary hospitals in Melbourne including The Alfred Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Skin Health Institute. Sarah also completed a year of her dermatology training in the UK, where she had the opportunity to work with her overseas colleagues as well as attend international conferences in London and Europe.

Prior to dermatology training, Sarah worked as a junior doctor at The Alfred, where she worked at the Victorian Melanoma Service and as a Clinical Educator for Monash University Medical Students. She also completed and published research at the Skin Health Institute in allergic contact dermatitis. Sarah has presented research both locally in Australia and at the Royal Society of Medicine meeting in London.

Sarah enjoys working as a general dermatologist including treating acne, skin cancer management, women’s and paediatric dermatology, eczema and psoriasis. She enjoys providing excellent care for her patients.

Specialist Dermatologist Dr Annaliesa Wright

Dr Annaliesa WrightDermatologist

Dr Annaliesa Wright is a consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Wright completed her dermatology training in Victoria working at tertiary referral hospitals including The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, St Vincentʼs Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. After obtaining her fellowship she worked in New York alongside leading Dermatologists in Laser and Cosmetic Medicine. She has published in international literature including the International Journal of Cancer and the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and has presented her research at national dermatological conferences. As well as private practice, Dr Wright holds Consultant Dermatologist positions at Monash Medical Centre and The Skin Health Institute, Carlton.

Dr Wright has a broad interest in all aspects of general adult and paediatric dermatology, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, excess sweating, laser treatment and skin cancer management.

Dr Wright is passionate about providing outstanding care to her patients.

Dr Helena Lolatgis Dermatologist

Dr Helena Lolatgis Dermatologist

Dr Helena Lolatgis is a consultant dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She undertook her dermatology specialist training in Victoria working at tertiary referral hospitals including The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Alfred Hospital, Monash Medical Centre, The Austin Hospital and The Skin Health Institute.

During her training, Dr Lolatgis spent 18 months in London, United Kingdom, working in the dermatology units of both St George’s Hospital and St. John’s Institute of Dermatology.

Prior to commencing dermatology specialty training, Dr Lolatgis completed her Basic Physician Training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr Lolatgis has published numerous research papers in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.

Dr Lolatgis is a general dermatologist with a wide area of interest including women’s and paediatric dermatology, acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. She has extensive experience with the management of skin cancer and melanoma and has worked with the Victorian Melanoma Service. She is passionate about providing personalised, holistic care for her patients.

Dr Celestine Wong Dermatologist

Dr Celestine Wong is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She graduated from The University of Melbourne and undertook her dermatology specialist training in Victoria at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Skin Health Institute. She also spent 6 months at the National Skin Centre in Singapore where she had broad exposure treating different skin types and tropical conditions.

Dr Wong has a keen interest in dermatology education both locally and overseas and regularly presents at dermatology workshops for health practitioners. She is also part of the International Dermatology Outreach committee and has travelled abroad to work in rural India. She has published in multiple peer-reviewed dermatology journals and strives for evidence-based best practice care. Dr Wong was awarded the Harvey Rotstein award for personal and professional excellence as well as dedication to patient care throughout her registrar training.

Dr Wong holds public hospital appointments as a consultant Dermatologist at the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She has a range of interests including paediatric dermatology, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, excessive sweating, skin cancer diagnosis and management. She is passionate about her work and takes pride in delivering exceptional care to her patients.

Dr Rowena Meani Dermatologist

Dr Rowena Meani is a consultant dermatologist and fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Meani completed her dermatology specialty training in Victoria through major tertiary hospitals in Melbourne including The Alfred hospital, The Royal Melbourne hospital, The Royal Children’s hospital, Western and St Vincent’s hospital.

Prior to commencing dermatology training Dr Meani worked at the Victorian Melanoma Service as a clinical research fellow and at the Skin Health Institute as a sub investigator in over 30 dermatology clinical trials. Dr Meani has published numerous research papers in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology.

Dr Meani enjoys all aspects of dermatology including eczema, psoriasis, acne, paediatric dermatology, excess sweating and skin cancer. Rowena is dedicated to providing her patients with the best care possible specific to their needs.
